The proposal of Cazumb\u00e1 Filmes<\/strong> is rooted on the character that gives it its name. Our goal is the production and distribution of works that run through cultural, educational and social boundaries, both in form and content. <\/span><\/p>\n Our projects deal with the borders that dwell us – gender, ethnic background, social class, culture – while overflowiong the formal boundaries that extend between documentary and fiction, between film and other media, between popular culture and contemporary art. She studied Literature at the\u00a0Universidade de Bras\u00edlia<\/strong>,<\/span>\u00a0Film Theory at the\u00a0Universit\u00e9 Lumi\u00e8re Lyon 2<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>Universit\u00e9 Lumi\u00e8re Lyon 2<\/span> in France<\/strong>, Film Directing at Univesidad del Cine<\/strong>, in Argentina,\u00a0<\/span>and Visual Arts\/Cinema at the\u00a0Haute Ecole D’Art et Design de Gen\u00e8ve<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0in<\/span> Switzerland<\/span>, where she took classes with artists such as\u00a0Miguel Gomes<\/strong>,\u00a0Albert Serra\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Apichatpong Weerasethakul. The Bull,\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>her first feature documentary film, received the Visions Sud Est Award,\u00a0<\/strong>had its world premiere at the\u00a044th Rotterdam IFF<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0and was screened in dozens of international events. \u00a0Larissa acted as screenwriter, director, producer and editor in many different projects, from shortfilms shown in international festivals, till tv series for channels such as\u00a0HBO<\/strong>,\u00a0Canal Curta!, CinebrasilTv\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Canal Brasil<\/strong>. She also worked as a writer and producer in the development of the tv series\u00a0Inara<\/strong>, awarded by the Brazilian PRODAV 5\/2014 development fund and in the Creative Incubator of the producing company\u00a0Sto Lat Filmes<\/strong>, which counted with the consultancy of\u00a0Lucrecia Martel, Karim A\u00efnouz, Rodrigo Moreno, Gema Juarez and Zsuzsanna Kir\u00e0ly<\/strong>. As an educator, Larissa gave many workshops and taught in universities on Brazil and abroad, such as the Cuba International School of Film and Television. She also cordinated the film school AIC, in S\u00e3o Paulo.
